This large print book contains 288 great recipes for renal diabetics ranging from beverages to cookies and main meals for everyday meals and special occasions so that your meals need not be boring anymore. Here you will find out more about this book and how it can help you enjoy a variety of tasty meals again.

You will be surprised to find some formerly forbidden foods such as nuts and meats worked into the recipes, which have food indexes and portion sizes prescribed for each meal. Although you may find no pictures in the book, it gives clear easy to follow instructions on how to prepare the dishes and the large text makes it very easy to read even in poor lighting conditions.

Some recipes have been developed by the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and others have been sent in by renal diabetic patients themselves. All recipes have been tested in house for taste and nutrition content. This ensures that your patient gets only what is good for him or her.

Here’s what some of those who purchased the book had to say about it:

  • “Without this book my father in law would probably not be with us. The hospital sent him home with a boiled chicken and vegetable diet. This book has given our family several different recipes for variety that are tasty. A diabetic diet is hard enough to follow, but when you throw in kidney failure on top of that, a diet can be almost impossible to follow. Without this book, I am sure he would have given up and ate whatever he wanted and took his chances.”
  • “The recipes are relatively simple to prepare, serve from 2 - 10 (though generally provide 6-8 servings), and require ingredients easily procurable at any supermarket.”
  • “Excellent with all nutritional info needed for renal diabetics to use per recipe. Nice large print and easy recipes.”
  • “I bought this book for my sister. This book is old and some of the info about diabetes has changed BUT not enough that my sister didn't find it VERY helpful.”
The concerns regarding this highly rated book, were the unavailability of Asian and South western influenced dishes and being old.

So, if you are like the other users trying to provide interesting meals without jeopardizing the health of your beloved real diabetic patient, you will find some nutritious, tasty and easy to prepare dishes in this book.

Renal Diabetic Diet – How It Can Help You Fight Renal Diabetes

If you are one of countless persons searching for support to combat renal diabetes through diet, you have arrived at the right destination.
If you are experiencing;
  • Positive protein traces in the urine after a paper strip test.
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle Cramps
  • Loss of Appetite
  • Nausea and Vomiting
  • Easy Bruising
  • Itching
  • Difficulty breathing upon Exertion
due to renal diabetes, and dreading future dialysis and even a possible transplant ,this article will tell you how a renal diabetic diet can help you overcome this terrible disease, without much effort.

People suffering from renal diabetes spend enormously on doctor consultations and toxic drugs, but often end up having to undergo dialysis or even transplants in the extreme cases. This situation leaves the patient exhausted and depressed with little energy to live a happy and active life. Although research has proven that specially designed diets can help greatly in combating this disease since the early 1990s, doctors have been slow in adopting these diets, relying instead on expensive drugs, which do not work in many instances.
  • Have a meal routine – Do not skip meals and have meals at around the same time everyday
  • Remember to eat the same number of carbohydrate servings at each meal – a serving consists of 15 grams of carbohydrates and the number of servings will depend on the  calorie requirements of individual persons
  • Reduce your intake of minerals such as sodium, potassium, phosphorus and calcium

A healthy diet, which takes care of your renal diabetes, coupled with healthy habits which will do good to your kidneys and other vital organs, will help you overcome renal diabetes like many others have done in the past.
